Getting in shape is an important aspect of game life. If you look good, you can keep your mouth shut and ride the pussy carousel for free.
on the other hand.. if you’re not a model.. you gotta pay extra attention and compensate with massive game. You can still win.. but why fight uphill?
When people say they want to get fit.. the majority of the time they mean lose weight..(or gain muscle)
(being huge like that dude on the right .. it just isn’t going to work. no matter how many negs you use)
Now im a firm believer in getting the maximum bang for the buck.. I want to get the hottest girl possible for my current looks/attitude/clothing/effort. However, there is definitely a point where your best move is to get in better shape.
For that guy on the right… he should have been in the gym.. not at the bar (not to hate or anything)
He looks is miserable.. This is a sad but true way of life for many people..
everybody has an IDEAL weight range for their height which will make them look as good as possible to the opposite sex. Muscle won’t even show until you get to a low body fat percentage ..
the first thing about getting in shape is… its a lifestyle change.. it won’t happen overnight. So if you want to look good.. you have to devote time and energy to it.. the rewards are awesome but you’ve got to put in the hours.
There is no better time than now to start.. the way I like to think about it is.. Life doesn’t give people too many chances.. you really gotta get it right the first couple of times or shits gonna suck
with that said…
What you eat is 10 times more important than how you exercise. (thats right.. you can’t eat like a pig and look like a horse)
when most people exercise it doesn’t do shit..maybe a few pounds of muscle mass tops..unless you’re taking steroids.. you’ve been working out for 2+years.. or you really know what you’re doing..
Most of us only burn like 300-500 calories at the gym per workout anyway. However, if you eat 1 big mac.. (or any meal.. i don’t recommend fast food) that will fuck your entire 2 hour workout. It is impossible to do anything if you don’t watch your diet.
This might be obvious but for some people maybe they just don’t know so — everything you buy has a food label (fast food places have them online).. the label tells you nutrition information.. we will get to that later..

Alright so
Everything you eat has calories. (food calories are considered K-cals with a capital C)
1. Food calories are measures of energy represented by the heat energy required to increase the temperature of 1 kilogram of water by 1 degree Celsius.
2. Your body burns a certain amount of Calories per day to stay alive depending on your height, weight, activity, and genetics.
Whether you gain or lose weight is determined by how much you eat and exercise (obvious I know)
to get fatter: eat more Calories than your body uses – The excess will be stored as fat
example: Your body burns 2k calories and yesterday you ate 2800.. those 800 get stored as fat
to get leaner: eat less Calories than your body uses – The deficit will be made up by breaking down fat stores inside your body
example: Your body burns 2500 calories and yesterday you ate 1800. The 700 deficit came from your beer belly.
Just for reference a pound of fat is exactly 3500 calories.

This seems easy enough right? so why are so many people fucking fat.
Its because the food we eat today has a shitload of calories and additives that fuck with your body (carbs/insulin levels) and make you want to eat more. Most food is designed to make you feel good and actually acts like a drug. (releasing happy chemicals when you satisfy a craving)People crave food…its stimulation.. they eat when they are bored. Some people eat because it makes them feel good when their life is shit. (emotional response) On top of that… most people don’t have nearly the same activity levels as they did before. Everybody is driving.. sitting in the classroom.. sitting in the office…sleeping.. taking the elevator. The combination of these 2 effects (more calorie intake) and (less calorie burning) is what leads to the huge surplus of calories. The body has no choice but to store these calories as fat..and increasing body fat levels

Okay so whats wrong with this meal? I mean .. fries.. coke.. chicken parm.. shit looks delicious.
This meal has over 1500 calories. Probably closer to 1800. There is so much fried chicken.. grease.. cheese.. sauce.
the french fries and coke only add like 400-500 calories but altogether this is a shitload. If you eat this meal.. you will feel amazing for 1 hour.. but… you will put on like a pound of weight. haha
also, the body has a 15 minute lag time before it can realize that you are no longer hungry.. Which means that even if 200 calories will satisfy you.. from the time you start eating… you wont stop until 15 minutes later when you’ve realized.. okay im full. Even if you are craving a little snack.. you could devour like 500-1000 calories in 15 mins no problem. Then later you feel bloated and stuffed like you ate wayy too much. The only way around this is to plan your calories.
Counting calories seems impractical. A pain in the ass.. a huge hassle.. right? I mean most people don’t even know how much food has how many calories.
At the same time.. looking great is the best thing you can do for your body and for your life. It is undeniable.. nobody can say that looking fat and sloppy is good in society. nobody.
my solution: a program called fitday (its like $20 for a lifetime license – I think it even has a free online section)
heres how it works.
You enter your information.. lets say 200 pounds and 5’10. It will assess the information and tell you your ideal weight range. (at this point you decide how you want to look.. a little bit on the muscular side or a little bit on the lean side). You set your goals (weight goals.. deadline) and it will figure out how much you need to eat.. how many calories you need to restrict.. everything for you. All you have to do is open it once a day and enter in the food you eat (it has a database) and how much of it.. it will tell you the calories and help you plan things out (even macro nutrient levels) . This program will allow you to track your progress (incredibly motivational) through the use of charts and graphs (weight, measurements, even moods). It is incredibly easy to use.. it really works accurately… and everything will make perfect sense to you.

The majority of fitness problems are weight related. Either your body fat percentage is too high and your muscles don’t show or you are too skinny and you look thin and frail. For example.. no matter how many crunches or exercises you do.. if your body fat percentage is too high.. your abs won’t show. At the same time.. there are people who don’t exercise at all.. but you can see their abs because they have the correct (15-10%) body fat levels. Either way.. the first step is attaining your ideal weight (and body fat percentage) (depending on the look and image you want)…the only way to get those kind of results is planning…and I have found an amazing way to do it.
this program is ridiculously effective. It is really easy to use. Everything is step by step- its actually really fun and rewarding to pursue a goal for yourself because you get to track your results week after week. When that pair of skinny jeans fits more comfortably… you can thank me later. This only pushes you harder and motivates you to achieve your goals. Honestly.. this is probably the best $20 you can spend in your life. (if you’re out of shape)
There you have it. 90% of getting in shape = your diet and calorie intake. After that.. just hit the gym a little bit and work your muscles to get that ripped definition. No matter how you do it though… if you don’t plan your calories..you will fuck up .. and your goals will get crushed. No amount of working out will compensate for eating like a pig. Its not hard to go out.. drink 5-10 beers and eat a pizza. A little effort upfront.. your body will be better tomorrow and the girls will be all over it.
just for reference.. if you ate half a pizza and drank 10 beers.. thats 2500 calories… !!

I’ve been eating pretty good the past few months. I definitely don’t fuck with sodas, french fries or donuts or shit like that that’s just obvious empty calories.
When I graduated college, I got a bit out of hand. Drinking beer too much (everyday) and not eating right…. got up to about 190 lbs (beer belly and shit).
I’m 5’11″. I’m back down to 165 now (p90x and shit), it’s crazy how skinny I am again. I haven’t been this skinny in years, all my pants are big in the waist now….
But, on the flip side, my shirts are tighter in the shoulders and chest.
I’ve never actually calculated my body fat %, so I definitely don’t have any idea where it’s at.
Interesting to see the body fat % pics you posted. I’ve always heard chicks should have a higher body fat % than males, and I definitely see why, looking at those pics. The girls in the 18-20% range look the best.

i think the main reason people are fat is because food tastes better today then it has for human existence. a slice of deep dish Uno pizza is just too tasty.
giving up on the foods you love can make you miserable. i recommend 1 day a week where you eat that pizza or Big Mac. it helps release that urge for tasty food, and helps you refocus during the week.
even better, eat that food more often, but drastically limit your other meals and snacks throughout the day.

But I love beer!
I always tell my friends when they go on crash diets: Don’t starve yourself. If the claoric deficit is greater than 1000 calories, your body will begin to break down your hard earned muscles instead of burning fats. You will lose weight if you burn 1000 calories in a workout and only eat 1500 calories, but it wont be the weight loss you want. You will just be skinny fat.
Rule of thumb: if you are working out hardcore, eat healthy but normally. Dont deny your body the fuel.
